StemGenex™ Says Treatment For Multiple Sclerosis Lies Within The Patient!

Industry: Health and Nutrition

Adult stem cell treatment is making a remarkable difference within the lives of those challenged with a Multiple Sclerosis Diagnosis.

New Haven, CT (PRUnderground) July 27th, 2011

StemGenex™ is announcing stunning results for its patients challenged with a diagnosis for Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Multiple Sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system, often resulting in detrimental and life altering circumstances for the patient.

Up until the present, MS has no cure. Most patients who have MS are using some form of Interferon therapy. Interferon therapy only has an eighteen percent chance of slowing down the progression of MS and in many cases the side-effects can be worse than the symptoms of MS.

StemGenex™ is changing the way Multiple Sclerosis patients are being treated. The treatments are reversing symptoms. Improvements include bladder control, better balance and coordination, strengthened limb function, increased energy and reduced spasticity.

For close to five years now StemGenex™ has been diligently working with physicians, scientists, academics and regulatory authorities to support stem cell research and implement alternative treatment with experts wanting to advance the current impact of stem cell procedures for patient harboring degenerative diseases, such as MS. The results have been dramatic. Adult stem cell treatment has posed no moral conflicts for those with Multiple Sclerosis seeking another course of action vs. Interferon therapy.

“We have had patients with Multiple Sclerosis come in scared and suspicious of stem cell treatment. Once they see the positive impact the stem cells from their own body can have on their condition, it is life changing.” said Rita Alexender of StemGenex™. “Our company has been hard at work finding a way for the human body to convalesce from diseases like MS, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and even COPD. Right now we can use the phrase “close to a cure” because our results have been so substantial. The best part is there is nothing toxic about using a patient’s own stem cells. In fact, it is the very reason our company has coined our procedure as The Human Repair Kit!”

StemGenex™ wants patients to understand they have a real choice in treatment when diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Over two hundred people are diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis each week. The most common drug therapies for MS cost the average patient over thirty-thousand dollars a year. While, the efforts of all those fighting to cure MS is appreciated, StemGenex™ believes the best cure for everybody is one that comes from the body.

StemGenex™ is a division of the International Stem Cell Institute (ISCI). Together, StemGenex™ and ISCI are working on developing tactical connections with researchers and leaders in the stem cell industry. Through both divisions working towards a unified goal to continue their persistent research with this field, StemGenex™ and ISCI are also considering working with a variety of prestigious universities and medical groups to accelerate further exploration on the many benefits associated with adult and adipose stem cells.

A full EPK, company representative interview, and tear sheet with clinical locations for both StemGenex™ and ISCI can be provided for all story requests.

HEALTH UPDATE | Testimony from Sandra Pazanin

This is a patient’s testimony of her experience firsthand after having a cell transplant December, 2010. Sandra Pazanin has been battling a serious and life threatening illness for the last 11 ½ years. On June 8, 2011, she celebrated her six month anniversary of the transplant. These are her experiences after treatment.

Sandra writes “The last 11 ½ years been a journey, but the last six months have been quite an eye opener. I have received approximately 50% improvement in my health. I am EXTREMELY grateful for these results and will have another stem cell transplant later this year. I want to try for 100% improvement.”

“When I first embarked on this journey, I was told that because I have degenerative conditions, and may need transplants annually or bi-annually. Recently, several people have commented on my weight loss. That is actually a reversal of the weight gain caused by increasingly painful, inflammation in my body from my multiple, and aggressive, auto immune conditions.  As the stem cell transplant was working on reducing the inflammation (and thankfully improving my vascular system), the weight started to drop off.”

“I hope that after the second transplant, I will be able to stand and not have to walk out of an event, or room, that is too stuffy or too hot, making it difficult for me to breath. I did not realize until I started to see improvement, just how much my vascular system was shutting down, taking my heart and lungs with it.”

“I was so ill last summer with unbelievable pain, on oxygen 24/7, it felt as if death was around the corner. I arranged to do a house exchange with a French couple and will spend 2 months in Provence, celebrating my 64th birthday this year!  AND, I feel as if I have enough improvement in my health to actually enjoy it!”

NEW YORK (WFAN/AP) — Major League Baseball is examining a procedure performed on Yankees right-hander Bartolo Colon last year that involved stem cells being injected into his painful shoulder and elbow, according to The New York Times.

Joseph R. Purita, an orthopedic surgeon in Boca Raton, Fla., told the newspaper he flew to Colon’s native Dominican Republic and helped a team of doctors there with the treatment on the 2005 AL Cy Young Award winner. He said he has used Human Growth Hormone in the procedure before, but not in this case with Colon.

HGH is banned by Major League Baseball.

“The Yankees did notify us and we are looking into it,” league spokesman Pat Courtney told the Times for a story posted on its website on Wednesday night.

Purita said he has treated several professional athletes over the years, including players for the White Sox and Rangers, and the NFL’s Ravens and Dolphins, and has never provided any of them with HGH.

“I just won’t give it to these guys,” Purita told the Times. “I don’t need the stigma and that kind of reputation.”

Colon went 21-8 with a 3.48 ERA for the Angels in 2005, but has been hampered by injuries in recent years. He was released by the White Sox in September 2009 after going 3-6 with a 4.19 ERA in 12 starts.

Bartolo Colon has provided Yankee fans with one of the most interesting stories of 2011. Colon was an elite pitcher up until 2005 with teams such as the Angels and Indians, but he suffered a partially torn rotator cuff in a 2005 playoff game against the Yankees, and he hasn’t pitched a complete season since. When the Yankees signed Colon to a minor-league contract this winter, few of us thought that he’d even make the team. But a funny thing happened: Colon has been pitching effectively for the Yankees. As a starter, Colon has the best xFIP, strikeout rate and walk rate in the starting rotation. Colon is not only pitching well so far, he’s pitching with legitimate major league “stuff”: in his May 2 start against the Tigers, Colon’s four seam fastball averaged 92.8 miles per hour, and peaked at 95.6 miles per hour.

All this from an overweight, soon to be 38 year old pitcher that most of baseball thought was washed up.

Colon’s story got a bit more interesting yesterday, when the New York Times reported that Colon had received a “disputed treatment” in 2010 for his ailing right elbow and shoulder. The “disputed treatment” consisted of the injection of fat and bone marrow stem cells into Colon’s elbow and shoulder. The Yankees did not learn about this treatment until recently; the team has passed what it knows about the treatment on to Major League Baseball. Reportedly, MLB is now “looking into” the treatment.

Did Colon break any rules? Did he do something wrong? Will there be repercussions? Here’s what we know.

Even though the world failed to end as predicted on May 21st, it appears now the stars are in a positive alignment. In the last 48 hours, the NHL has returned to Winnipeg, the Vancouver Canucks beat the Boston Bruins 1-0 in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals by scoring with 19 seconds left in the game, and my 8 year old son’s soccer/football team (the Black Knights) whom I coach won 5-2. Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket.

PRESS RELEASE | StemGenex™ launches a campaign to shed light on the various medical benefits associated with stem cell treatment

StemGenex launches a campaign to shed light on the various medical benefits associated with stem cell treatment.
Los Angeles, California

StemGenex is announcing a media and medical campaign to help individuals understand the various benefits associated with stem cell treatment. Coined as The Human Repair Kit™, StemGenex is edifying the public on the difference between fetal and embryonic stem cells vs. adult stem cells. Adult stem cells, which propose no ethical or moral impasses, are used by StemGenex for patients with various disorders, such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, and COPD.

StemGenex is a pillar within its industry and about to pioneer the way for popular cosmetic procedures that are in demand by today’s hottest celebrities. However, the company’s progressive work with serious medical disorders is at the forefront of its operation. Through intense, continued research, the company has facilitated the concept of using stored fat cells, which are an abundant supply of dormant adult stem cells, for new techniques when treating a range of medical ailments. The stem cell treatments employed by StemGenex are safe, natural, are administered on an outpatient basis, and requires no dangerous anesthesia.

“Stem cells have an intelligence about them.” said Rita Alexander of StemGenex. “As an example, a diabetic patient may come in for treatment and not tell us about the chronic back pain they are also experiencing. The marvel of using stem cells is that these cells will resolve other issues patients fail to report to us- like chronic back pain. Our patients can see their stem cells moving on a high-powered microscope. It’s amazing to be part of company that helps people realize they’re each equipped with their very own human repair kit.”

StemGenex is perceived as not just a staple of its industry, but also as an innovative brand. Curious physicians and prepared investors are querying the company through a variety of different partner, research and clinical proposals. As StemGenex becomes known for its work within the medical industry, through a developing group of supporters who have received effective treatment for diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Multiple Sclerosis Muscular Dystrophy, it is also branching into cosmetic repair services that will include all-natural facelifts and anti-aging treatments.

Your Fat is Your Medicine Cabinet

SAN DIEGO—(BUSINESS WIRE)— International Stem Cell Institute (http://www.iStemCelli.com), a worldwide leader in Stem Cell Therapy, today announces the launch of its significant and proprietary Adipose-derived Adult Stem Cell Therapy program, declaring it an extremely effective solution to treat degenerative diseases and conditions. Scientists and medical researchers worldwide are finding adult stem cells have an almost magical ability to heal the human body, and the supporting scientific evidence is rapidly mounting. The FDA recently approved Geron Corporation and University of California at Irvine to conduct trials utilizing embryonic stem cells in patients with spinal cord injuries. However after ten years of rigorous testing and research on embryonic stem cells, scientists have still not been able to treat or cure any diseases. By comparison, adult stem cells continue to show their ability to successfully treat human disease and injury, while embryonic stem cells continue to demonstrate zero benefits for humans, and only limited results in animal models. It’s now widely accepted Adult Stem Cells hold the real key to curing diseases and medical conditions and are the future direction of medicine. ISCI’s treatments—based solely on Adult Stem Cells—utilize leading edge technologies, and hold immediate promise for patients suffering from many forms of degenerative diseases.
